Itinerary
Day 1Cairo (Arrival)
Arrival to Cairo International Airport, meeting & assistance through passports and customs formalities by the representative of Continental Tours.
Transfer to your hotel by private car or air-conditioned bus.
Overnight
Day 2Giza - Cairo
After breakfast, start a full day tour to visit the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili Bazaars, back to hotel.

Day 3Tel Basta - Belbeis
After breakfast, start your tour by visiting two significant sites in the Holy Family Trip to Egypt. You will drive to Tel Basta (100 Km northeast of Cairo) to see the holy well and then continue to Belbeis (55 Km) to see the Virgin’s Mary Tree and visit the St. George Church.
Drive back to Cairo.
Overnight.
Day 4Sakha - Samanoud
After breakfast, start your tour by driving to Sakha (140 Km from Cairo) to the Virgin Mary Church and the footprint of Jesus.
On your way back to Cairo, stop at Samanoud to visit to the St. Abanoub Church and the Holy Well.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 5Wadi El Natroun
After breakfast, drive to Wadi El Natroun (100 Km from Cairo) to visit El Baramous, Anba Makar, Anba Bishoy, and El Suryan Monastries.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 6Cairo
After breakfast, start a visit of Coptic Old Cairo to see the Abu Serga Church, the Hanging Church, the Babylon Fortress, the Virgin Mary Church in Mostord, the Holy Well, and the Virgin Mary Tree in Matareya.
Overnight on Cairo.
Day 7Cairo - Minya
After breakfast, visit the significant Holy Virgin Mary Church in Maadi on your way to Minya (3 hours’ drive).
Upon arrival to Minya, check in at your hotel and after a short rest, start a visit to the Cliffside Church at Gabal El Teir.
Overnight in Minya.
Day 8Assiut - Sohag - Qena - Luxor
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and continue exploring the Christian heritage by visiting El Muharraq Monastery in Assiut and the White Monastery in Sohag.
Continue your drive to Qena and stop to visit the famous Dendara Temple before your arrival to Luxor.
Arrive to Luxor and check in at your hotel.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 9Luxor
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to your Nile Cruise for check in.
After check in, start a visit of the Karnak and Luxor Temples.
Overnight onboard.
Day 10Luxor - Edfu
After breakfast, visit the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Sail to Edfu.
Overnight onboard in Edfu.
Day 11Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan
After breakfast, visit the Edfu Temple and sail to Kom Ombo.
Visit the Kom Ombo Temple and continue sailing to Aswan.
Overnight onboard in Aswan.
Day 12Aswan
After breakfast, start a visit of the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Philae Temple.
Overnight onboard in Aswan.
Day 13Aswan
After breakfast, check out from your Nile cruise.
In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station to take a sleeper train back to Cairo.
(Dinner and breakfast onboard).

Day 14Cairo
Arrival to railway station and transfer to your hotel for check in. After a short rest, you can an overday tour to Fayoum Oasis (1 hour drive from Cairo) or you can visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (Optional).
In the afternoon, you can enjoy a Nile dinner cruise (Optional).
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 15Cairo (Final Departure)
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure, assistance through formalities provided by the representative of Continental Tours.

- Summer rates are valid from May 01st until September 30th and Winter rates are valid from October 01st until April 30th.
- Rates are quoted per person per package.
- There is a rate supplement during peak periods (Christmas, New Year’s Eve & Easter holidays).
- The above rates are based on the above-mentioned hotels and Nile cruises, or a similar category in case of unavailability at the time of your booking.
- Hotel accommodations are always based on Continental breakfast with a supplement for other breakfast types. You will be notified about the breakfast types offered at the time of your reservation and their supplements.
- Nile cruises are always on full board basis (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
We offer a flexible child policy for adults traveling with children on holiday:
- Infants from 0 – 1.99 years old are Free of Charge.
- Children from 2 – 5.99 years old are charged only 25% of the package rate.
- Children from 6 – 11.99 years old are charged only 50% of the package rate.
- Adults 12 years old + are charged full package rate.
- The above Children Policy applies only to children who share rooms with their parents (maximum one child sharing parent’s room).
- If your package rate includes domestic flights, ferry boats, or trains, an extra supplement may be applied. Our travel consultants will confirm full Children Policy details before confirming your reservation.
- Once your booking is finalized following email correspondences between you and our travel consultants, you will receive a final detailed quotation and will be asked to select a method of payment to pay a deposit of 25 % of the total cost of the services agreed upon (50 % deposit in Christmas, New Year, & Easter holidays).
- Full payment has to be settled at least five working days before arrival (ten working days in Christmas, New Year, & Easter holidays).
If you decide to cancel your trip, the following charges will be applied:
– From the day of your booking confirmation until 61 days before the arrival date, 15 % of the total tour price will be charged.
– 35 % (50 % in peak periods) of the total tour price if cancelled 60-31 days before the arrival date.
– 50 % (75% in peak periods) of the total tour price if cancelled 30-15 days before the arrival date.
– 100 % of the total tour price if cancelled 14-1 days before the arrival date.
Tipping for a good service is normal in Egypt, but it is not a must. Feel free to show your satisfaction to a service provider by offering a tip.
