House reefs lie right off the beach in El Qusseir, so shore diving is a comfortable option for all levels and boat trips are offered to diving sites that are away from the shore.

There is a wide range of fabulous dive sites along the seacoast of El Qusseir with a variety of dive centers that provide all diving services including classes and diving equipment rentals.

Wreck divers will certainly enjoy exploring the Salem Express. Elphinstone, a thrilling open ocean pinnacle, is there for the intrepid too.

The popular diving sites in El Qusseir:

• Ras Qusseir:

Boat trips to Ras Qusseir reach out by speed boats. A dive with a collection of soft and hard corals, amazing coral garden and big possibility of sea turtles and eagle rays, clear water and quite dive site, and only a 5-minute ride by speed boats.

• Soug Bohar Nord:

A marvelous entry with extra ordinary coral reef. Through a canyon you can enter one of the most fascinating dive sites of El Qusseir.

A sandy plateau welcomes you, in which usually one eagle ray stays, till you reach the pinnacles at 30 meters that they are full of glassfishes, in the same pinnacles also a table anemone that hidden a family of harlequin shrimps.

On the reef you can find scorpion fishes and blue spotted ray and finding barracudas or big trevally is not so difficult there.
